GREAT MARSH

Commissioned by the Cape Ann Museum, this interactive installation reflects upon the precarious position of the Great Marsh due to human impact and sea level changes. The piece is an artistic interpretation of the process of ditch remediation-an innovative, nature based process to mend the marsh. Participants were invited to weave alongside each other while considering personal and collective impact on the Great Marsh. //Partially displayed in Sculpture Light Garden in Newburyport. Made from local salt marsh hay, jute, and wood stakes.
